Guard Bitumen

Whilst generally seen as ‘old fashioned’ technology we are able to supply coatings for easy application onto a variety of substrates; concrete/masonry/structural steelwork/castings/pipeline and general factory maintenance. Bitumen is an ideal coating for the protection of steel in damp and cold atmospheres. Our standard bituminous coating can also be used as a tank lining or bund lining product.

• Good resistance to diluted acids and alkalis.
• Application by brush, roller, spray or dip.
• Fast drying – touch dry within 2 hours at ambient temperatures.
