Rust-Oleum 5150 Speed Patch is a fast setting, high strength concrete repair mortar providing a durable fast setting repair to frost spalled, eroded and cracked concrete, steps, troughs, ramps, coving etc.

Recommended Use

For repair of all damaged mineral and concrete surfaces, including with exposed reinforcing.

 

Surface Preparation

The surface should be reasonably dry, clean and free of loose material. Smooth surfaces should be roughened.

 

Directions for Use

Shake the primer bottle before use. The liquid in the larger bottles should be mixed with the dry filler to achieve a dry trowel-able mixture.

 

Application Conditions 

Temperature of material, air and substrate between 5°C - 30°C and relative humidity below 85%. The substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above dew point.

 

Application and Thinning

Rake/Trowel

Prime the surface by brush. Apply the mixed Speed Patch using compression with a trowel to work it into the repair area. Further compression causes the surface to become wetter which makes finishing easier. The mixed components will remain usable for 10-15 minutes according to temperature and volume of material.

 

Cleanup

Clean equipment and spills using Rust-Oleum Thinner 160.
